Survey Tools
Posted in Uncategorized on 04/26/2011 11:41 am by adminI was discussing methods of getting input from the general public on some of our company’s products with a co-worker the other day. Of course there are a number of ways to get the job done. However, time is as they say of the essence. It usually is. My feeling’s that we really don’t have the time set up a questionnaire ourselves and put up on our website. So it would be quite nice to, and as it seems entirely necessary, that we get our hands on some sort of pre-fab survey tools. A couple of years ago I went to a job interview for a company who specialised in the development of different kinds of survey tools and the putting together of statistics on public views. Anyways they gave me a swift introduction and I was asked to make a stab at setting up an effective e-form on the matter people’s feeling towards a large morning paper. I tell you, it wasn’t easy. The questions have to be exact and devilishly thought-through. If they are not chances are that people are going to misinterpret you’re questions and answer something entirely else. No, leave it off to the pros and focus on stuff you’re good at. That’s what I’m going to do.
